As I said in a recent thread - If you have nothing nice to say ~ say nothing! I also know what you mean by the statement "a dumb question" - that is what some people like to make you feel you asked. This is where Chris's point of it sometimes results in a dumb answer regardless of how smart the responding poster thought they were. Treat each other with respect and realize you may not understand what the OP was thinking or what drove them to ask the question in the 1st place. This forum is for the members by the members - you make it what it is and you have the ability to report posts that cross over the line. You also have the ability to step in and say a better response would be... I do it occasionally and hope that the member that made a negative comment will take a minute to reflect on why I posted what I did. You (the members) have that same power. If that happens often enough, the negative posters will either learn from it or leave. As Doug said, it is a fine line we walk. We all try very hard to not abuse the power we are given. What most members do not realize is how much is done without the members even realizing it. It is a delicate balance and sometimes it is better that the members get a chance to work it out. Again, we do count on the members to help by reporting posts. We are not here to provide censorship but we do try very hard to keep things on track. Best Wishes ~ Darryl
