Lol, it's already been verified by several different professional numismatic experts. In person it's much more obvious than in my terrible pictures haha. But anyways you're right, this coin WAS that hard to verify after circulating for almost 2 decades. This is the precise reason why less than 200 have been graded, with at least 1-2k coins produced.......and why I am only the 2nd person that has documented their find from coin roll hunting, but I'm sure there have been others. So keep looking, and put any 2000 P Sacj. under a microscope so you can bring out those tail feathers again......... Luckily they have classified 2-3 die markers that exist only on the 1999 reverse 2000 Cherrios prototype version.......these markers along with high magnification are the only factors you can count on to identify these rare coins after circulation.
Doesn't look like a Cheerios dollar to me. Need better pictures. And to the other people on this thread, A_squuared is one of the posters who posted threads with clearly invaluable coins, titling them "just sent in for grading". I'm not gonna keep my hopes up for this one...
That is my younger brother on my macbook starting to get into coin collecting and thinking he's rich everytime he looks through change. My apologies.
You are clearly lying sir. After comparing your recent posts with your old ones, I notice that you use multiple extended ellipses in your writing. It is highly unlikely that multiple people would do that on the same account.
Names please. If they're truly professional numismatic experts people here should recognize the names.
When the Sac dollar was being developed in 1999 it used a different "prototype" rev than what was used for the regular 2000 coins. He is referring to that as the 1999 reverse. So it is a 2000 Sac dollar with the 1999 reverse.
You see how that middle tail feather is pronounced and clearly higher than the rest of the tail feathers? That's the best way to tell that it's a Cherrios dollar from my horrible pictures lol.
Yes! Monday! Keep your fingers crossed for at least a MS-60. I have some even more rare coins I sent out with it too (I won't say), and are all going to probably be featured at the next Long Beach Auction, or maybe Baltimore 2019 next spring, or possible even Heritage. I haven't decided yet......especially since one of the coins I have has never been sold at public auction before....big decision.
Stop acting like you have anything of value without any proof. Stop saying you sent anything in for grading without any proof. Stop lying that everything wrong you said on the forum in the past was your brother. No one believes any of it. It is easy enough to take a photo with enough quality to make a determination of whether or not the sac dollar is a cheerios dollar. I see right through all your claims.
Just stopping in to subscribe. Now... where's that popcorn? Oh, and OP, good luck. Unless your aka RareTim (or a couple of others).
He has a circulated 2000-P Sac Dollar worth exactly $1... oh and no one has seen such a coin at a major auction before
I've heard that stated by other people too. Funny, after a while we never heard back from them on their results. Odd.
