Thanks, since ancients aren't my primary interest (or maybe they are, considering I collect a-little-bit-of-this-and-a-little-bit-of-that) I would consider $20 or so to be cheap. I would pay more, but I would REALLY have to like it and feel it is worth it. I have started to look on Vcoins and there are lots that seem to fit that category. Go onto e-bay, search "ancient coins" and put $20 and see how many you find and what they look like.
There seems to be a lot for sale under $20, but that's not how I shop the Bay. Are you only looking at Buy It Now? I have plenty of coins from Ebay that I've purchased for well under $20 and especially well under $30. Besides, when shopping the Bay, you have to be patient. The one you want will eventually show up at your price.
I agree that it looks as though Warren and I have purchased our sweet, rather inexpensive coins from the same vcoins dealer (for the record, this is my only purchase from this seller, but there was absolutely zero-problems with the exchange and the coin looks even nicer in-hand) JA, I'm sorry to hear that you got jobbed on your coin-transaction ... ummm, maybe the maniacal phone-calls and stalking has tarnished your coin-relationship a tad?
I'm not the only person who has had issues with him. I've had several PM conversations with other members that have also had problems. Funny thing is, I ordered another coin from him recently that arrived just fine. Crap shoot. Next time I won't wait until after the 45 day period to file a complaint with PayPal.
Well, now we'll call it even for all of the coin-advice that I've given you over the past few years, my friend (keep the change)
