Thanks. I see I have 938 British Empire coins, not counting all the culls and ones to go. The sun never sets on the British Empire, as they used to say.
@Maxfli What?? "Thanks. NGC MS65+" Such pikers and not willing to go out on a limb with a truly stunning grade that might be criticized; hmmm. Well, not having it in hand I "suppose" that's the best they could do; sure looks better.
A few halfpenny pickups from market on Wednesday. The 1718, 1731 and 1751 are slight upgrades. The 1771 doesn't get close to the incumbent!
Pretty nice looking coins. Let me know if you want to palm off some of them...(or they culls they replace...)
@coin_nut Those are GREAT 1/10th of a Penny coins Now, maybe you'll come across a George VI and Elizabeth II; maybe lady luck will point you to an Edward VII. Unfortunately I don't have them
I figured that this would constitute a valid submission considering that the Dominion of Canada was a self-governing unit of the British Empire. With that being said, here's my complete set of Canadian Half Dollars from 1911 to 1936. Granted, some of the coins aren't in the best condition, but I only paid melt for the entire album a few years ago. Page 1: Page 2: Page 3:
Thanks, glad you like them! Here are a few others from the western part of Africa, in other denominations. 1907 BWA penny 1952 BWA 1/2 penny 1963 Rhodesia & Nyasaland penny
