Very nice ! I'm just in the process of putting my crown sized coins into quantum capsules and it's a coincidence that the only one I didn't have the size for was the Arabic 1 double florin I have
I've added a few more coins this week. Some haven't arrived. Jubilee head crown: Armoured bust bank token. Now short of only the armoured bust 3s Tobago 2-1/4d black dogg upon cayenne colonie 2 sous, I now have this and a counterfeit upon a crowned C Stampee Finally an upgrade. It should only be an interim one though as I want better
Thanks mate. I doubt next month will be as fruitful as this has been since we have the wedding/ honeymoon to pay for. I do hope for a few more buys though. My main target it to attain a 1933 wreath crown. I have the 1928 but want rid of it as '33 was my Granda's birth year
I have been out of commission but I am back at last. Here is my favourite British Commonwealth coin - the 1903 Straits Settlements trade dollar. Forgive me if I have posted it before - it has been a long time.
Nice silver, Paddy. Nice, maybe in a month or two I plan on building a 1918 set of GB silvers, for my grandmothers birth year too. They seem cheap enough for mid grades.
It is a while since I picked up something new worth posting, but I think this is pretty nice. Australia One Crown (pre-decimilisation), 0.925 Silver, KM#34.
I've just bought this piece to upgrade my current Bahamas penny. I'm sort of concentrating on this area for the time being in making it a better collection but also making its contents better quality. I plan to upgrade my Bermuda penny next if possible I'm not normally one to buy slabbed coins but if i can get the coin I want at a decent price I'll buy it raw or in the slab even. I would have liked it raw so i could quantum capsule it like the rest of my Windies coins of this time but I'm not going to break it out. It would be too much of a shame !
Just upgraded to this beauty too You may notice that I've bought a lot recently but there's method in the madness as we're looking to start a family soon. I've seen how restrictive kids can be on collections so decided I best get some decent stuff for me to ogle for at least the next 18 years ha !
ICCS are very strict and don't use eye appeal to change grades so there's every chance it would grade higher from a US company although for Canadian tokens I would always prefer ICCS verification.
