    Thanks, I never thought I would ever get one. It's obviously the centre piece of my collection now. I also got this Java stiver from the same seller. Which I'm also really happy with given they couldn't get the details to strike properly.

    We fired our guns and the British kept a coming there wasn't as quiet as many as there was a while ago, I will post my coin once I get it.

    This was only a one-year design. I must admit I find it more interesting than the standard St. George and the Dragon design. And being a limited issue sovereign makes it more collectable.....

    Thanks Jello but I think Laurel Head. The Bull Head was used in his silver coins and the face and neck muscles were much more pronounced??? :)

    I never took that way.
    I knew there was a difference between strike but didn't have my books. We're cool :)

    Yes I know when I was in London 90% of coin shop's looked at me like I was crazy just for asking.
    That was 1977 no grading at this time.

    Thanks, I tend to see these more often in higher grades than lower. I wonder to what extent they actually circulated..
