Interesting coin I recently acquired: Of interest at least to me: Wood Grain; Die Cracks Obverse and Reverse - one from G thru jaw, behind eye to A; and ghosting. Any good online variety reference for UK coins? Seen "Freeman" numbers mentioned, where are those from?
I don't think I see one of these here. Wish I could offer a better picture. 1694 Half Penny of William & Mary.
here's a new addition. I've always wanted a decent Hibernia but most I saw were worn and beat up. I came across this one with a full Harp and crown. Its only a Farthing but for 30$ shipped to me I couldn't pass it up. I'll add some better pictures once in hand. 1806 Ireland Farthing
Here's my newest acquisition keeping in with the bank tokens. I'm now looking for the draped bust types !
no i don't really I just liked the design of the Hibernia coins. i really dont collect anything modern or before 1940. most of my coins are 1700~1800's
Before Vicky you had George IV son of the III & William IV the second son. Both with bullish features of their father as shown in my coin ha
Here's one of my favorite (or maybe favourite) British coins that I've sold recently: Sold quickly so it must have been too cheap
Here's the biggest haul I've had in a while there all seller pics I'll replace with my own as and when they arrive.. This is a forgotten coin which now only leaves me 10 & 20 piastres short of the British run in Egypt. I'm a sucker for a nice conder too..
Bought my first William IV rupee so I'm not missing a single monarch in India now ! I also eventually got my British west Africa aluminium 1/10 penny ! Last but certainly not least Prince Edward Island "ships, Colonies & Commerce" 1/2 penny PE10-2 VF20 ICCS It's the type with the American flag.
