Posted this on the "new coins" thread, got it in hand yesterday. From HA

 

I was weighing up a bid on that and decided to pull it. I already have London and Bombay mints..

 

I have a few at this point. May go for a FIC Piastre or Straits Settlements Dollar next.

 

They are nice but the next trade dollar I get will be either Calcutta or a no mint mark of Bombay since I only collect British colonial

 

For me, it started with wanting a "trade dollar" and not being able to afford a nice US version.

Could not resist this one. I love 2 pound Silver Britannias, and this one, although having a 100,000 mintage is a low pop coin due to its DPL status. Hard to get a photograph,as it is so extremely reflective:

Ole mate Australia mint has a few gem out next year too.

This wasn't exactly the grade I wanted but it was cheap and I love the character it has with the under type !
