here's the set I sent to be graded today. I think they will do pretty well. 1825 1d 1858 1/2D 1857 1/2D 1806 1/2D 1854 1/2D 1831 1/2D 1856 1/2D
They are nice but the next trade dollar I get will be either Calcutta or a no mint mark of Bombay since I only collect British colonial
For me, it started with wanting a "trade dollar" and not being able to afford a nice US version. Good luck.
Could not resist this one. I love 2 pound Silver Britannias, and this one, although having a 100,000 mintage is a low pop coin due to its DPL status. Hard to get a photograph,as it is so extremely reflective:
Thanks a bunch, Angelo. I am always on the hunt for beautiful big silver. Saw this one, and immediately made an offer, which was accepted.
Just got the grades back for these 4 from PCGS 1806 1/2D MS62 1831 1/2D AU55 1857 1/2D AU58 1858/7 1/2D MS63
This wasn't exactly the grade I wanted but it was cheap and I love the character it has with the under type !
