Sarawak, on the island of Borneo, was a British protectorate. The last "white Rajah,"was Charles Vyner Brooke who luckily was vacationing in Australia when the Japanese invaded the East Indies. At any rate Sarawak is now one of Malaysia's states.

And a 1909 British Guiana and West Indies 4d. Which I've been after a while but have never found at a decent price, this will fill a hole for a while until I get to this area for upgrades.

$20. The seller had a sticker on one side for $21 and on the other for $70. When I asked him how much, he looked in a book at muttered something about "Krause" and $70, looked at it, and said he'd take $20.

I bought a cover for my 1970 set that I was given by a friend for 99p and it even came with the info leaflet which I'm extra pleased about ! Really happy with the set now. I didn't know it bugged me so much until it was mentioned here ! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1442005909.911358.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1442005919.857912.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1442005929.921998.jpg

Here's a few from my collection. Arnold Machin's portrait of Liz II is the best.
