I'm addicted.. After looking for the wolfenbuttel Prince regent legend coins and the east Friesland 1 & 2 Stüber a while I eventually got the P.R 24 Mariengroschen and a 1 Stüber. Today I found these 2 and had to have them, I'm thankful to have found them since the Stüber in any grade is hard to find and I rarely see the P.R legend too and when I do it's usually aF.

i believe straits, borneo, east india, canada and others all were British at some point yes. i would think coins from those periods of "occupation" would be acceptable
There have been a lot of English pennies posted, but here is one a little closer to home. 1 Penny, Bank of Upper Canada, 1850 It's dated 1850, was struck in 1851, but didn't get to Canada until 1852. I dig St. George, and believe his dragon was was real, but was a lost salt croc. Benedetto Pistrucci's British design has wings, but you know artists. I like the size, 33.2 mm and 15.4 g, 3 mm thick. For British proof, check out the Union Jack at 2 o'clock on the rev. The Rev. is part of the "Upper Canadian Coat-of-Arms". Mintage: 750,000
