I like almost all silver coins, but especially the 3 and 6 Pence.

I found a Oak leaf 6 pence in a Dime roll about year and half ago 1926 I think the date was . I know I posted and have photos somewhere. I find it and post it again.

 

Yeah the oak leaf coins are really classy, I'm getting a bonus from work next month so I don't know whether too buy a high grade Canadian half dollar or put the cash towards another 24 mariengroschen I've been saving for it's a nice predicament to be in I guess.. Not one that's easy though for sure !

 

Mark finding a nice one of either would be good!

 

You're right just one is £100 more than the other. I think I'll save another couple of months for the mariengroschen. Since Brunswick Hannover is a series I'm very much into right now. I'm even at the point where I'm considering solely focusing on these coins !!

A commemorative for this year of a time when our empire was drawing to a close.
I bought the BU example because I know my Granda (who passed away in October) would have loved it, he was a child during the war and always told me stories when I was a child about it and he even took this fresh out of circulation to give me. When I was 4 and the new coin reminded me of it.
