    robinjojo, Your Fu lion looks like he is daring anyone to take that ball from him :nailbiting:! I agree with your dating :). This jade has been color enhanced like so many jades from the turn of the 19th century. Don't let your jades accumulate dust, they should be fondled frequently :p.

    Milesofwho, A number of imperial Ming jade seals are known to exist in private Chinese collections; they rarely change hands publicly :cool:. Mutton fat white jade is my favorite :D, & I often carry a pocket piece with me, see photos below. This creature is known as a Bixie, & probably dates to the early Qing dynasty, 57 mm long. A similar but older example can be seen in the Victoria & Albert museum.
