Its just another seller on ebay saying what a lot of ppl think. They think that George B. Soley minted this small 1832 medal, see link, on the steam press he bought from the US Mint. Well, I finally found out that he most likely didn't b/c he barely bought the steam press in 1875. With that said, according to the below link, dates on tokens aren't always accurate, so we may never know. <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie11" alt="" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /> My question is this, if the US Mint did mint that 1832 medal, what was the occasion? Oh well, just sharing some information. Oh, forgot to add my pic of a steam press token pressed by the US Mint, I think. Also, nobody could have minted that 1832 medal in 1832 b/c the US Mint didn't get the press until after that date. Dang, messed up the order of the text and the pics. Oh well. </p><p><br /></p><p><a href="http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1832-U-S-MINT-Phila-Token-Lords-Prayer-Token-by-SOLEY-Rare-Find-/291766851546?hash=item43eea8d7da:g:jkgAAOSw3zxXL-nt" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1832-U-S-MINT-Phila-Token-Lords-Prayer-Token-by-SOLEY-Rare-Find-/291766851546?hash=item43eea8d7da:g:jkgAAOSw3zxXL-nt" rel="nofollow">http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1832-U-S-MINT-Phila-Token-Lords-Prayer-Token-by-SOLEY-Rare-Find-/291766851546?hash=item43eea8d7da:g:jkgAAOSw3zxXL-nt</a></p><p><br /></p><p><a href="https://www.fi.edu/history-resources/coin-press" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="https://www.fi.edu/history-resources/coin-press" rel="nofollow">https://www.fi.edu/history-resources/coin-press</a>[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
