The biggest, baddest, gold coin that ever circulated?

    I would imagine some of the original dies are still sitting in museums that where used for striking 100/ 50/ 40 Dukaten/ and the lesser ones at 10/12/16/20/24/30.....

    I would love to see restrikes of the originals/ same dies/ gold content/ then sell them to collectors. So you could buy a 1687 AV 30 Dukaten/ Leopold I Prague Mint for 10K. The originals are all Million euros coins that average collectors cannot afford/ but at 10K we could.:) And what a delight it would be to look at that MS sucker up close. Here is a 1610 AV 20 Dukaten/ Sachsen/ back when money was actually too beautifull to spend......
