And, now that I've downloaded the 3 cats I like, how do I get them to "play"? I open them on my computer where they are saved, and they each look like a bunch of stills. I'd hate to try to post 90 stills to get a picture up here... If someone can/will please give a simple answer? Or point me where to look?

Probably votes that came in after ikandiggit said voting was closed. I recalled seeing only two with 5 votes each when that time was announced, even though now there are three.

Open .gif files in a web browser window rather than an image file viewing application. Which ever web browser you use, select "open" through the browser, select the file of the cats, then it should open and run like as animated .gif file. Whether it loops or not, is a matter of your .gif viewing preferences you may have set up with a set number of loops or left to default.
