Well, its not a fouree. But it may be cast ???? Trajan cheek looks puffed out, but there is coresponding impact damage on the reverse. Opines welcomed ???

Thanks kidzzzz for the warning. I looked at the coin under my steroscope and saw tell tale slag remants. I did a specific gravity calculation the coin was not silver. The diameter of the coin was correct, but the thickness was slightly larger than normal. This made the coin weigh out at the correct 3 grams. Once again thanks, 100 heads are better than 1.

I see this thread is from 2011...that was a good year. I wish I was 26 again. Instead, I'm turning 31 in 6 days. I'm getting so old.
