This got uploaded just lately on academia.edu. It's by John Naylor, an academic at Oxford University, more specifically at the Heberden Coin Room of the Ashmolean Musem. It's only highlights of the year's detector finds, as recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme website. But as such, it's pretty great. Naylor describes his own increasing multidisciplinary emphases, from coins to [sic ...please] artefacts. The article itself eloquently demonstrates how they interrelate. https://www.academia.edu/30327635/Portable_Antiquities_Scheme_in_2014?email_work_card=title
