To be fair, you brought it back up after I was willing to let it go. Because not all information is of equal value. Where the information comes from matters! Why do I even have to argue that?! Again, yes! I don't need that specific of credentials (though it would explain how he knows what he does lol... maybe he doesn't want people to know that he faked his death in 1925 and that's why he's being so secretive?). But if he ever said something like "I work at the Mint" or "I know someone who works at the Mint" it would allow me to place more faith in him as a known relaible source. If he's so worried about his privacy, even something like "the information comes from the Mint" without saying how he got it would even be good enough. This is the first time I ever questioned his source, and the only reason I did is because it contradicts what I've heard from another source that I beleived to be reliable. If two sources contradict each other, the only way I can figure out which is right is to judge which source is more likely to be reliable, and to do that I need to know where each source gets their information, at least in general terms. /sigh... and I was worried that I was the one overreacting... it's not like I asked for his name, address, phone number, social security number, and shoe size. Just a brief mention of the information source would have been fine, it's not like it's a secret that violates national security or something to reveal how he knows when certain coins will be released and how they will be packaged.
