My advice would be to keep the BAGS sealed as that in itself will probably be a rarity in less than two years! Why? Because everyone opens them to cherry pick high grade coins so very few bags remained sealed. And, should an error be discovered those bags will be opened faster than the blink of an eye. Thousands and thousands of collectors, and non-collectors, are hoarding and stashing away at this very time and the bulk of that stash will be rolls, both paper and plastic tubes so they will be readily available should a price increase come our way. But how many bags intact will remain? While I agree you are not ever going to get rich of a couple of bags of buffalo nickels I do think there will be a quicker increase in value in a sealed Mint bag. Now for all you nay-sayers out there who just can't believe there is any hope of ever making a dime of these nickels....HAVE ANY OF YOU BOUGHT OR PRICED THE 2004 PEACE MEDAL NICKEL ROLLS FROM PHILADELPHIA LATELY! EVERYTHING WE DO EVERYDAY IS A GAMBLE so relax and enjoy the hobby! If it is good for you---go for it! It is YOUR collection and only YOUR collection and the only important decisions regarding your collection is YOURS! When these nickels ALL end up in the hands of private individuals, and they will very very quickly, just what would HAVE to happen to put some of them back on the market? The KEY is knowing when to buy and when to sell! This is basically a 6 to 9 month issue or a once in a lifetime deal! Think about it and you can bet your Morgans I will be here this time next year to do a little price comparisons with you all! Keep the bags sealed!!!
