I think the problem is that you need a copy stand or tripod to stabilize the camera.

It's hard to see the lines in the wheat. The bow tie is strong and the hair has some detail. Comparing it to PCGS photograde, I would judge a 8 or a 10, unless there are are some lines in the wheat.

Are these photos a little easier in helping to grade the coin?
Also, does it look like it could be an RPM?

With those pictures, I cannot tell. Are there wheat lines or not?

Here are some others to show the Wheat lines. 1931D-RPM.jpg 2015-04-06 15.52.48.jpg 2015-04-06 15.53.03.jpg

Also - here is a closer image of the "D"
    Definite RPM?

What would the value of this coin be based on grade and (possible) RPM?

    Thanks

I'm not seeing it. A close-up straight on image would be best I think.

That is the grain on the wheat. What about the line above the grain?

    How about these?

Also - would you consider this an RPM? (and what would it be valued at)?

That is what I thought I was seeing. The obverse is VF and the reverse is VG to VG+or it could go F weak strike. I would guess that would make the coin F.
