There are still millions, and if a coin, with a mintage of 39.84 million is a KEY date, in any series, well then, that says a lot about the mintage of that particular series doesn’t it now! What I’m trying to get across, to all of you is, that these coins, are not, and will never be rare, due to their mintage! There is no reason in paying premiums for a coin, JUST BECAUSE YOU CANT FIND IT… Some of the people are saying that they will pay these tremendous premiums, because they have not seen a 09 Dime yet? That makes no sense to me, last year I didn’t see a 2008 penny, until mid year, but I didn’t go out and pay a premium for the coin. There is no reason to pay any premiums for these coins, and wait, in a few months, you’ll see the coins gradually get into circulation, and if people hoard, okay, they will realize soon enough, that the more they hoard, the more the population of a BU 2009 coin is, and then they will realize, the coin isn’t worth keeping onto, and just spend it, which is the smart thing to do. If you can find a 2009 Dime or Nickel, and want to sell it, go for it, because I’d do it to, a high mintage coin, sells for $30+ just because somebody has not seen one yet, that sounds good with me, the fools and their money shall be separated![/QUOTE]
