The reverse has some kind of doubling on the stars, too. It looks like maybe it was a weak strike because the denticles on the reverse are almost non-existent. Regardless, it is easily the nicest shield nickel I own now and will be put into my 7070 in the near future.</p><p><br /></p><p>Then there&#039;s the 3 cent nickel. Definitely looks to be mint state, especially in-hand, but I saw it&#039;s got a nice cud on the obverse. I saw that in the shop and thought it would be nice to have a coin with a small cud, as I don&#039;t really have anything substantial cuds, so I bought that as a nice upgrade coin. Got home, put it under the scope, then looked at the reverse and saw several die cracks and the beginnings of another cud! Score!</p><p><br /></p><p>I just wanted to share here before heading out for the day in the off-chance you all wanted to take a look at these. I know I&#039;m happy with them!
