I got the info I requested, I tried to delete the thread, I'm not a penny collector, I'm a silver collector, I just came across this useless penny according to the comments.
    Thank you all.

I hate to tell you, but it will look just as ugly 20 years from now as it does now. And it'll still be worthless.

Hey Rodney, don't get your feelings hurt. When you've seen the same kind of damage a thousand times, on a thousand different cents, from a thousand different new members, and you've told those thousand new members the TRUTH, but yet those new members don't want to believe it, and instead, those new members want to believe that they have found the Holy Grail of Coins........
What would you do or say?
In all honesty Rodney, these guys are actually taking it pretty easy on you, believe it or not.
I mean, how would you feel if you were very well versed at something, and someone asked you for advice, yet when you gave them good truthful advice, they didn't believe you, and instead, acted like you were lying to them, or worse, trying to trick them out of their new-found coin?

Hang in there Rodney. Things will get better. Most of these guys have answered the same questions so many times, and many times been treated like they're trying to trick somebody, that you really can't blame them for being a little short with you.

Most of these guys are very knowledgeable. Much more so than I am.

Paddyman98 is an error collector and has a huge collection of errors. Yeah, he can be a little short with newbies, but that's because he doesn't like to be doubted.
9Ball is very knowledgeable about many things. He also has a sharp wit and doesn't like to play games with people. That's why he won't be insulted or second-guessed either.
And Spark has already given you the very best advice : "Get a Yeoman RedBook and read everything at doubleddie.com, especially how dies are made and (about) worthless doubling."
These guys just want to help you, Rodney, but you have to be willing to accept their help, even as "rough and tumble" as it is.

Stick it out Rodney and you'll find that Coin Talk !! is the best site for coin information on the entire 'net.

BTW, Welcome to Coin Talk !! where newbies aren't newbies for long.

You said you collect Silver coins, didn't you? That's what I do also.
I collect silver coins of all types, sizes and countries. If it's silver, I want one.

We have a thread going right now called " Crown Size Silver Coins ".
Check it out and post some pics of your biggest and best silver coins.

Do some braggin' if you want to.
    We can take it !!
