    very interesting but the only thing is that the bills each only have one signature, i will try to see what they say when i get home (Sun.)

    There is an excellent article on short snorters in the May (or was it June?) issue of the Numismatist. Your local public library may have the Numismatist in the magazine/newspaper section if you're not a member of the ANA.....

    As you can imagine, Banque de France had a bit of trouble getting to the business of printing and delivering banknotes during WWII. Many were printed in England and the US at the time. That note was printed by EA Wright in Philadelphia.
