Hey , don't send that Washington in for a regrade anywhere else. What a generous grade NGC gave you. Nary a hair shows above the the ear nor a feather in the breast , yet an F15 ... go figure , but that's why I buy them and don't grade them. Thanks for the posting.

To be honest I'd go with the 63. The strike is a bit weak in some areas, and the coin isn't well centered. But that isn't what drags the grade down IMO. It's the reverse, there seems to be some kind of mark or defect that runs from the M in AMERICA to the E in E PLURIBUS. If it wasn't for that mark I'd say 64.

Marianne---in 1932 the strike was a bit weak....so you have to take that into the grade.
tcore---I agree with the quarter---I don't see a fingerprint on the dime....I think its the photo.

eddiespin---I don't think its fake....I've checked it out pretty good and got it from a good dealer.
The photos in the PCGS grading guide also work for this coin.

GDJMSP---the line is on the slab...but I think your right about the strike...

Everyone else....thanks for the posts.....this was fun...maybe I'll do it again.

Now if that was a 1932-S quarter I would be worried.....but I don't think I have anything to worry about from the photos....I think I would question Heritage :D:D
