I would say G-4 for the 1916-D. The 1942/1 would be a VF-20 (details) and cleaned.

AG-3 on the 16D and VG-8 harshly cleaned on the 42/1

    Thanks,

All the sticks in the fasces are to be visible for an F-12, this 42/1 has about half visible making it no better than a VG

    Thanks,
    Bill

The 1916-D was graded AG3----most of the ones I've looked at that are graded G-4 have about the same detail but then I've always said that Key Dates are overgraded....
The 42/1 was graded F15 Cleaned---
Both of these coins are harder to find keys---and I'm happy to have them---I got them for a heck of a price....
Even if the 42/1 is cleaned I'm glad to have it and everyone knows what I think of cleaned coins----if I ever upgrade it to a uncleaned one I think it won't be too hard to sell it.

Thanks for all of the guesses...

I am impressed by PCI now.
I never thought that they'd get these, especially that accurately.
    Good move.

Well Frank in the last few months it seems that I'm agreeing more and more with PCI.
My dealer sends almost all of his coins to them now---they are cheaper and alot faster than any of the other Grading Companies and when trying to make money I guess that works for the best.
