I don't have a way to take pictures of my coins, but last year I complete the set of FDR silver dimes. I'm working on adding any additional silver FDR dimes to my collection. I'm also working silver Washington quarters. As a side note, when I was in the 10th grade, all of my friends smoked and it was cool to wrap the pack of cigarettes in the sleeve of your T-shirt. I wanted to be cool to, so I bought a package of Camels and wore it on my sleeve. Everyday, when I got home from school, I would put the pack in the inside pocket of my jacket. One day, I dropped my jacket on a chair in the living room, forgetting the Camels were in my coat. My mother picket up my jacket and in the process of putting it on a hanger, she found my cigarettes. The only thing she said was, "I thought I taught you better." She took the cigarettes and told me that they would be in her jewelry box when I wanted them. I never touched a tobacco product to this day except one summer, I worked in a tobacco field looping the tobacco leaves. It took only that summer, that I would never have anything to do with tobacco again, so I became an CPA.
Very good. I would rather have that (which I do) and complete my collection, then stare at an empty spot. Like the 21's, too. I collect circulated coins anyway, so it's not that out of place. Good thing, too, because my bank account wouldn't support any better, lol. Thanks for posting.
This is another bust dime from my collection. It's a 1835 AU 58 but, looks full MS. What looks like a scratch on the obverse is on the slab.
Yours with a twist - a 1901-O with Obverse 1, scarce transition variety. (Inner ear, ribbon touching N, and rounded leaves are pick-up points)
The government made me quit smoking when they increased the tax. I swore I'd never pay 50¢ a pack, so about 50 years ago, I quit. Used sunflower seeds to substitute the oral fixation, but it worked. Here is my favorite "Dime."
