    Artificial brightening.

    I believe you are right though, people would balk hearing it put like that.

    put your pants back on pal. i didnt say i like dipped coins. it was an article showing how it is the least intrusive alteration. any alteration in my book is a numismatic crime punishable by ANA exile...

    I can't, I'm not done with her yet. Again, that was not the main theme of the article, not even close.

    Nowhere in any of my comments did I disagree with any of this. Just that it cannot be compared to the things that were being discussed.

    In 1964 you purchased an antique desk. In 1984 you discover a nicely toned 64 Kennedy half in the back of a drawer under some stuff that come with the desk.

    That coin is NT

    You liked it, so then you replaced it with a pristine half and pull that one out in 2004. That one is AT.
