Tax Return Coin, Palm Sunday or Just a Holy Coin, Got One?

Here's my holy coin, it's a 1962 Second Vatican Ecumenical Council Medal, yes it's a Medal but that's as close as I can get on this Palm Sunday! If you have a holy coin, Medal or Token post a pic, here's an opportunity!

A medal inscribed in Greek and Latin both! I read both languages...the obverse says, "Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior" (what the early Christian acronym ΙΧΘΥΣ with the symbol of the fish stands for--ΙΧΘΥΣ is the Greek word for "fish"). The reverse reads at the top, "That all may be one", and at the bottom, "Second Vatican Council 1962".

Great, I'll save your translation @manny9655 as I had no idea what language was on the obverse at all, may come in handy if I ever want to sell! Great looking Easter coin @JeffC!

 

But they made an error on the obverse! The first word should be ΙΗΣΟΥΣ (JESUS), not ΙΗΣΟΣ.

 

I appreciate the heads up, I looked them up and both translate to Jesus!

 

Here's another holy Medal and a Token, forgot about them!

 

I have a Shekel of Tyre (Used for payment of the Temple tax),and I have a Tribute Penny (Denarius of Tiberius), and of course a Widows Mite (Pruta of Judea)

 

My parents were very devout Christians. I have all of their medals, tokens, and holy coins packed away for our granddaughters. You brought back some very fond memories and I certainly appreciate it.
