He was the one who really perked my interest in coins. Back then, I was very young and didn&#039;t know much about coins or currency. I just knew that they were old and different. <img src="https://coinauctionshelp.com/forum/images/smilies/icon/geek.gif" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /></p><p>He gave me many coins over the years until he passed in 1989. I was 23 at the time of his death.
