Thank you Bruce for your kind words my friend Thanks Jim, I am in talks with a company that will suply me with all of those items. As I am the only store in Iceland that deals with these I will have to do my best to help each hobby out Actually I will send you a email later this week My personal site is down due to the fact that I will stop collecting when going into the business, A wise man said never compete with your clients My store will have a site and i´ll let you know when it is up and running Thank you very much You are always welcome
Siggi, I am very happy for you and wish you luck. Hopefully you will still enjoy numismatics on a personal level. This certainly takes it from a fun hobby to a business. I know collectors who have turned into dealers and have lost all love for the hobby. I promise, every single time I am in Iceland, I will come visit your store! -g
One thing just occurred to me. You have been a collector many years, use this experience to supply the products and services you wish you had as a collector.
It's your opportunity to do something very rewarding with your life, and I think you will suceed. Let me know when you are officially open. I would just love to add some nice quality Icelandic Coins to my collection. You already have my trust.
Considering Iceland's exceptional financial problems of the past few years, now on the mend, I wonder if there might be a better-than-average market for bullion coins, especially the Britannia's, Maple Leaf's, Philharmonic's, and ASE's. I also suggest you get a Facit Specialized stamp catalog if you don't have one already. Scott and Michel catalogs have almost no depth in Icelandic postal history, cancels, or varieties, some of which bring incredible prices. Good luck!
