So when you try to get the whole coin, such as a cent, it can&#039;t do it. Some of these have a&nbsp; 0.5 plastic supplemental lens ( sometimes integrated into the lens cover ) that can help to make the dime/cent size, but that lens degrades the resolution.</p><p><br /></p><p>I read the specs on the scope on internet , and they do not mention min/max focal distances at all.&nbsp; Not that this is bad unless you thought you could take photos of whole coins. If you want it for what it does good, then it is similar to most of these types.
