Well, I got behind in my Coin World reading because studying for final exams took over my life (I forgot what the sun looks like). Upon reading coinworld, I find, Lo and behold, the mint pulls one on me and releases the 5 ounce America the Beautiful with a cut mintage and without me knowing. My first reaction was "holy moly, these are going to go for huge premium on ebay", my second reaction was "edited, I missed the release". My third reaction (upon looking at the proces on ebay) was "Good lord, I missed the opportunity to make thousands of dollars, I want to throw up in my roommates room I feel so sick." So.... How can I rectify this situation so that I can make a profit and be able to afford rent next semester? Are they still for sale anywhere? Please fill me with you're coiney knowledge cointalk!
Keep reading, they delayed the release of these coins and they are not yet available... may be any day now, but all buyers have their work cut out for them. There are a few active threads on this topic you need to catch up on.
Don't worry about it too much. Your studies will make you far more in the long run than these "coins" will. But your information is incomplete. The release was temporarily halted. Read on: http://mintnewsblog.blogspot.com/2010/12/atb-silver-bullion-coin-premiums-capped.html
I suppose I panic posted. So will the people who ordered before the cut-off still receive their coins? Any speculation as to the new distribution method will do to secondary market value?
Again... go read those threads... it's a big saga, already been / is being discussed, repeating the particulars will only confuse and double up in this thread.
5 Oz America The Beautiful Bullion This one got closed so your thread could be the new discussion point I suppose. Here is another one that had some early pics of the coins: America the Beautiful 5 oz. silver bullion coins
