cool coin I found it in my 2004 19th century Krause world catalog. Switzerland KM#S17 1885 5 Francs, .835 silver, mintage- 25,000
    grade/value
    VF-$50.00 XF-$70.00 UNC.-$125.00 BU-$175
values could be higher in real life market
    welcome to CT. :cat:

Lovely design, as so many of these Swiss shooting thalers have. Could very well be a habit-forming category to collect.

PS- Hey, Brian! I know you! :woot:

I know how you got "dirty", too!

Same way I got "dirty" in my "Dirty Movies"... ;)

Would love to see you (and anyone else who was so inclined) over on my treasure hunting game.

I looked at an Austrian Taler today at the coin show. The big one with the horse on the back. Unfortunately, it looked VF and had a price tag of $750 :(
