So I didn't think this through as much as I apparently should have. This was never intended to be an impossible contest. This is my first one, so there are a few kinks in the system, so to speak. So, with that in mind, here's an update of clues...

1. It is from the 1st century AD.
2. It is not silver.
3. It is a well known coin, or at least semi-well known.
4. I am a collector on a budget, so if it costs $300+, I can't afford it.

Now, please continue guessing.
