PCGS contacted me about returning it to them under their guarantee; it is a welcomed addition to my Dark Side Collection...
Is there a light side collectionThe only counterfeit coins I own are the very few henning nickels from CRH.
Coin Week published my article on this one @ https://coinweek.com/counterfeits/f...pykGzmNcSdTgv6XnkOnZXz5s1OSN4EaDOYi40LH2mpYVs
I looked back through this and I noticed another feature on the counterfeits. The decoration below SHILLING on the genuine can be described as two arrows pointing an a ball between them and the points of the arrowheads are clearly separated from the ball. On the counterfeits the "arrowheads" are basically just blobs and they are solidly connected to the ball by a "bar". Look at the images posted in the 1st and 9th posts showing the counterfeit next to a genuine coin. The 1863 shows the same problem with the decoration as well. The problem with the decoration can also be seen clearly in the post just above this one.
