I have one of the 1979 one dollar coins. I have read there are two types. One with the narrow boarder and one that is wider. Is this true? And if it is which one would this be? I can not tell to save my life lol I dont expect it to be but wanted to see if anyone had an opinion. Thanks!
Yes there is a far date and near date. Yours is the far date. The near date would have the date much closer to the rim.
