What does this have to do with the original post #1 and how can you not expect this to turn in to a back and forth when you make a generalization about an entire generation? I really hate to tell you but your observation about the current generation has been around since the beginning of time and speaking about if a generation is too soft or not on a coin website has nothing to do with why we are here. Nothing.

A certain 21st century societal viewpoint, I might add, whose adherents often attack another certain 21st century societal viewpoint for trying to erase historical figures. Not to name any names, of course.

Actually the current generation is Making History and the older generation ( I am in that age group) can ignore it, but your great grandchildren 10-20 years from now will have a slot in their head ( probably the mastoid process ) to insert memory cards and wi-fi. You can hate it, but it will come anyway unless the AI robots take over from humans. Be happy! Jim

I expect that my great grandkids will sit on my knee and ask me to tell them stories about the days when we actually drove our cars.

I work in that industry. My company manufactures steering systems. We are right in the middle of autonomous car development. It's quite interesting. I will add that I do like to drive, but when I'm 85 (if i live that long), I'd like to have my own personal self driving car to get around.

My mother gave up driving at 92. I plan on doing the same or breaking her record. Driving is very relaxing to me. I do sobenjoy getting in my car and going and going. I love to drive. I've driven coast to coast over a dozen times and not just on Interstates. It's a beautiful land in which we live. You can't see it from the air.

Yeah, but you can see a lot more if you don't have to keep your eyes on the road...

Now just to be clear, I was in no way saying that SBA cause was anything less than honorable. I was just saying there are a lot of wacky causes TODAY. In our time is all....and no...didnt do any research...and she still has alien eyes imo on her coin. Just sayin....lol
