Just picked this up today but can’t find it listed anywhere. Obviously it’s sterling and 24g. Probably from Denmark. Possibly minted in Vienna (Wien). Can’t find it in Numista which seems crazy. I do believe it’s in its original packaging and maybe has the original sales sticker on it.

    any help here?

I used Google Images and there are a few for sale on ebay but not to much information for it besides what you already know. Another wesite calls eBuy has the following description.

    Description:

Panimex medallion of sterling silver, minted in memory of Denmark's liberation on 5. May 1945.

Translating the insert, this has a guaranteed maximum circulation of 1-5000, and this specimen is guaranteed to be No. 0641. The translation of "Gesellschaft fur Munzen und Medaillen" is the "Society for Coins and Medals." Translate the stuff. This is a very interesting medal. From what I'm gathering it's commemorating the boys who fought and died that day.

Awesome. Thanks everyone. I guess I’ll use that gold medal example from Numista and submit a new page for this example.

    appreciate all the help.
