Some Halloween Conjecture. There are investors who are rather superstitious. Some such as Victor Niederhoffer take great strains to avoid being in the presence of a "Hoodoo" or an investor who got toasted really bad. Not sure how that's working out for him now since he got toasted twice since 1997 but that's another episode. But now I was wondering about Nelson Bunker punching the clock. William is still kicking but he's 85. These guys are the king Hoodoos of silver. So, will silver investors rationalize that silver had been Hoodooed by them in 1980 but now the hoodoo is breaking? Is there a chart for that? --a Hoodoo "break-lock" formation chart?
I made money in '80 sold, bought again, sold again in 13-14 and will buy again sometime, my coins and my bullion are two completely separate issues. Most people don't look at it that way however.
