I would totally buy some chocolate to get some. I've never seen them around me though. I think they have a collectible aspect. People who like Nintendo and someone who collects exonumia.
I found them with a quick google search. Did you get yours in the US? The nearest place that may have them around me is Walmart. I try to avoid them like the plague (especially when there is a plague going on right now lol)
Collecting is entirely a personal thing. Myself, I grew up before we had video games and don’t care a thing about them. I wouldn’t be at all interested in them. My kids on the other hand may go all in for these. I just don’t know. Times change as do people’s interests. You collect what appeals to you.
They are only worth collecting to the people who collect them! Are you old enough to remember Beanie Babies? ~ Chris
My wife just hollered at me for laughing uncontrollably in the .... ummmm.... the.... well the throne room.
That's how bored I've been in this quarantine but since I'm not that old and this character did come out during my childhood I found then nice to collect you never know they might be worth something like does Pokemon cards I regret not keeping the ones I did own and gave away but it's all good
Enjoy what you enjoy and collect what you collect. Honestly, if I came across them, I'd buy and collect them. I have a few of the McDonalds Big Mac tokens from a year or two ago. Why? Just because haha. I'd rather have the Nintendo tokens lol.
I wish we had better smiley emojis! I would have put the one rolling on the floor laughing! The last game console I bought wasn't even for me. It was a playstation 2. The last one I bought for me (I'm pretty sure if my memory serves me correctly) was the original nintendo (minus the game boy later). That was lost in the transition to adulthood. My husband found out how much I loved to play super mario bros and bought me the original controller made to hook up with a USB for your computer and the rest is history. I haven't paid for a game to date. Super Mario is #1, but I love the old atari and nintendo games. Sorry for the rant, path down memory lane!
I've played video games since I was like 4 or 5. I own every Nintendo system (except Virtual Boy), every Playstation system, as well as a Dreamcast and XboxOne. I love video games. They made up a huge part of my childhood as well as my adult life. My son right now is only really interested in Minecraft. I got the NES and SNES classic systems and introduced him to the OG Mario and he hated it. Perhaps he really isn't my son lol.
Nintendo Switch. It is the newest Nintendo system. It is a handheld game system that can be put into a dock and then turned into a console system on the TV. Hence the "switch". It's pretty awesome
Maybe we set up some perverse coin club where we play Nintendo games and bet with collectible coins and sets! lol Kind of a poker club but with Nintendo and say Morgan Dollars or whatever you have to bring to the table, lol
