Do you really recommend Athena Numismatics, even given the issues people on here have with them? I can't argue with Ken Dorney or GIN though. No experience with Aegean or Incitatus. I've dealt with Ken in person. I think I ended up buying a warring states knife coin and a Wang Mang spade, but I also looked at an Otho denarius when I was there. Good guy, fair prices, knows what he's doing. Ken would probably be a good one stop shop if you're already looking at his Chinese inventory. It's not really a "feature" per se, but every listing has an "inquire about this item" link you can use to make an offer. Some will be more receptive than others. Just don't lowball, and you'll be fine. I bought the Ptolemy II octobol in my avatar from him. It was a pricey coin, but they always are. I just love my big ol' bronze hockey puck. I'm personally avoiding both Athena and Zurqieh due to stuff I've read on here. Not sure I would be making that recommendation to a beginner. LAC is a reputable dealer. If you're not in Europe, the only thing you might want to watch out for is shipping charges. It's not hard to find nice coins of Marcus Aurelius for not much money. He was emperor for a long time and issued a lot of coins. I would say the denarii are most accessible in terms of price, and you don't have to worry about bronze disease, either.
