What is the big deal? They took a pcgs ms 70 an slapped another label on it. No big deal from me. With moderns I believe there are 70's, but I would not pay for one.

I would guess they asked to have the PCGS label on the reverse side, so the Obama label would be on the obverse.

For this price you could get a MS65 1936 Bridgeport commemorative with P.T. Barnum on the obverse. How ironic, " A Sucker Born Every Minute".

Report the auction for eBay rules violation and get it shut down. He mentions a MS-70 grade in the title but the Obama coins ARE NOT GRADED. And the Obama label IS NOT on the outside of the slab. These are just ungraded novelty slabs. (I know because I have one that just arrived. I don't care about Obama I just needed and example for the slab reference set. But these coins are NOT graded.)

Huh? OK tell me what that means, if it isn't graded why does it say MS70? Is that not really a PCGS slab? Not interested in the coin but please explain???

If it is any consolation someone recently paid him $92 for a MS69 auction similar to the MS70

Explaination is I saw the front of the slab and didn't bother to look at the back. This is a new production of these things. The previous ones were not graded. They had the Obama label on one side and the PCGS hologram on the other. When I saw the front label I assume they were the same thing. My bad. (Now I have to get ANOTHER one of these pieces of garbage.)

I wonder how big the bribe was for them to do THIS novelty slab.

Did PCGS add that sticker on the slab or did the Ebay seller do it?

    PCGS - it's not a sticker, it's a label inside the slab.

  18. There was a thread on the PCGS boards, PCGS made them not the seller....

    Sell out! IMHO...
