While I appreciate your point of view, it's much easier for as the poster to host it one place, and then post a link to the 10 other sites it's going to go instead of uploading 4 pics to each and every site ...

Yeap, learn to post pictures. You don't have to upload, you can just click the little picture icon, paste the link to image and hit Insert. This forum will do the rest for you, like this:

I have indeed posted pics directly to the forums before, and perhaps "upload" wasn't the correct word to use. While you're right, and some people may not click the link, I'm still going to choose the path where I create one hyperlink once (instead of 4 pic links per site), and I still have to do that for a dozen different sites!

Additionally, when it all links back to the one website, I get statistical information I don't otherwise get when posting directly to the forums.

In short, I don't actually need to justify why I do things the way I do! I'm going to keep linking, and if people choose not to click, oh well!

 

So you just want to use this forum to promote your website. That is fine. I choose not to click on it. Most of your post here are simply self promotion, not much contribution.

With all due respect, a fair amount of this site is nothing more than self promotion, albeit done is less obvious ways.

 

I always had great reactions from the Coin Porn I find at shows, so I thought I would try to do it a little more often instead of waiting for the major shows to roll around every few months.

This was just supposed to be the firstly of a daily (or weekly) example of "Coin Porn". Just a pretty to drool over. There's no link to it for sale, there's no mention of a price ... just Coin Porn, guys!

Its just I don't like threads with 6 words, while 3 of them are a link. I think posting just 1 photo and giving a link for the rest would have been more respectful, unless your sole objective is to generate traffic.

 

If you are interested in whatever coin she is linking, you will click. If you have no interest, or it takes too much time, you won't. She has nothing to lose if you have no interest to begin with.
