All I see is Environmental Damage. I dig out dozens of quarters from soil, sand, dirt many times when Metal Detecting. Exposure to the elements such as heat, cold, rolling around in the waves at the beach can cause an alteration to the color and appearance of any coin.
Your orange colored background could affect the color of your coin.. always use a white or black background
