Strike through or PMD?

    Is this a strike through? On the obverse. Part of UNITED is completely gone.

    Great, thanks. My only question now is, wouldn't the rim have been affected too?

    Not with grease. In fact, the defined rim indicates that this is a grease error rather than a weak strike. A poorly defined rim and devices usually suggests a weak strike.
