Strike Through? Huge lump on reverse,,, but no PMD to obverse???

  1. Notice the BIG lump on left eagle wing/branch,, I expected to see a huge hole to obverse,, but nothing! Would this be considered a CUD? Strike Through? Or is it something else entirely? 006.jpg 008.jpg 009.jpg 010.jpg 011.jpg

    It wouldn't be a cud or a strikethrough, but considering the condition of the coin, I don't think it matters what it is.

    I would guess possibly heat damage.

    From the heating of the coin, causing gas between the clad layers to expand, deforming the metal.
