This one was special as well. It was my test coin for a new macro lens.
I knew I made a good choice and still use the same lens.

Always wanted one... Although I'm not big on the wheats anymore, I think that coin is so cool! :)
    Nice pic!

That is one VERY gorgeous coin(?)
I don't think I have anything to compare to that, nor could I image it nearly as well even if I did have something like that.

I'm going back and look at it somemore.

The fugio copper was the first coin authorized by our young colonial government. The theme on the reverse reinforced an important message then and remains true today! I am glad to own this since it is such a nice piece of history.

This is an old obsolete note of mine. I figured I'd post a note since it is mostly coins so far. Also a note that I have seen nothing like, other then this one. That is what made me purchase it in the first place. It is an 1860 $10 note from the State of Pennsylvania Bank of Commerce. It shows people rowing away from a ship. I will include a photo of the full note incase anyone would like to see it:D

Here's some pics that I titled "George W and the maidens". The pictures are from a 2 dollar bank note from The State Bank of Trenton. The State Bank of Trenton was created in 1812. In 1845 the charter to the bank was extended long enough for the bank to settle its affairs and in due time the bank passed out of existence. This 2 dollar bank note is numbered 1747 and is dated 1825. If anyone wants to see he full picture of the bank note let e know.
