I was asking for Singles and explaining that I wanted any older items she may have or knows about in the Bank.. The teller next to her had the Silver Certs! Cool score.. my First for those in Circulation.. Anyone know what the deal is with the print lines in my Prev. post?
This is a great thread. Since the banks are closed today, I can't get any singles. However, I might go through a strap and a half tomorrow to fill some holes in my collection!

Thanks For ANY help ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Check out this error note I found in the register at work today. I was real excited to first see it was a 1981 $5 note in pristine condition but when I turned it over I got real excited. I tried getting the pics to upload but I didn't think they were working so I just provided a link to my webshots album if you want to check out this beauty. http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2765022130054184881oBqtEV

To be completely honest with you I just recently became interested in collecting notes (November 09) and have just started getting into researching the rareness of notes and how valuable some of them can be. It is all still very new to me and sometimes reading those serial number tables can give me a headache. Regardless these are useful tools to help you to figure out if your dollar is worth $1 or possibly more. Thanks again
I am right there with you.. New to Currency.. It all Started with a Trade for some Barber Quarters I had.. I got a 5.00 National Currency First Security Bank In Los Angeles.. It is Beat but started the who thing last year.. Now I have a Bunch of stuff.. I Am keeping all Stars and Anything Odd or SN I like.. Etc.. Its Fun.. but Still learning myself to read the Charts..
Got a strap of $100 in singles today. Managed a full 2006 set, 2 1995's with one being AU or so, a 2001 (which for some reason are less plentiful than 95s), a few 2003's that I needed, a 2003A star, and the 2006 set. Only $30 too, so I have $70 in singles that I can turn back in and get more!
Another 3 hour tour. $550 is in $2 and I found these: 76 G in 2nd pic at LR corner is so00 crisp, too bad about the writing. Also, the teller asked if I would like her to iron the nicer red seal. I laughed. She said, "no really". I guess they use a laminator but without the actual lamination. I didn't let her do it.
Bank run: Series 2001 $100 star: CE014092529* Series 2004 $50 star: EC02024266* Series 1993 $50 (Just an older one) Series 2001 $1 star L02416034* Series 2006 $1 star G00886431* Can't afford to keep the big bills, so I'll take them to my coin club meeting and ask 50 cent premium for them or something like that....
Went to a local bank today and got a bundle of 100 two dollar bills, all were 1976,1995, and 2003 except for in the middle of the stack were 6 red seals 3 1963, 2 1953, and 1 1928 all were in pretty rough condition except one 1963 which was in immaculate condition, please excuse the horrible photo quality the black line in the upper right corner is only a shadow
