reading this thread has got me to look at the bills in my pocket and i found a DL85998199 just missed it by one number :vanish: got to remember to keep looking, thanks for the reminder.
You know I sold it on EBay years ago for $20!!!! What a jerk. I had just started listing currency and had no clue as to value. I mean I knew it was a "cool" number but it was so warn. I put it up for .99 and a buy now price of $20. When it sold in less than hour of listing it I knew i had been screwed by my own lack of knowledge. Happy hunting, Michael
Ok, so where does one go to find out if a bill has a "cool" serial number? Anyone have the link to the sight? Is there a sight? I'm so cornfused.
Good on ya xeno108, Isn't it awesome selling money? My father still is amazed that I sell something for more than face value. Good show, Michael
I don't think they're still updating that site. I submitted a bunch of bills but they never added them to the gallery or hall of fame. My bill number 00000001 has a higher UCI than any bill on there, but they didn't add it to the hall of fame. oh well
I've got a $1 star note, with serial # A10616606 (four-of-a-kind and two pairs) and a $5 star note, with serial # G00074443 (apparently, 2 triples together occur in only 0.051% of all 8-digit numbers).
This is a cool number. It has a Universal Coolness Index of 94.8% 22112633 contains 3 pairs together. Only 0.75% of 8-digit numbers have this combination. 22112633's digits sum to 20. In 2.8% of 8-digit numbers, the digits sum to at most 20. 22112633 contains 1 triple and 2 pairs. Only 4.6% of 8-digit numbers have this combination. 22112633 has 4 unique digits. In 9.3% of 8-digit numbers, there are 4 or fewer unique digits. Couldn't resist....sry
